Island Romance!
It was certainly a privilege to be part of this wedding held at Quarantine Island, a nature reserve and historic area right in the heart of the Otago harbour.
Maddy and Connor's wedding was held in the one of the restored buildings on the island.
With lots of exposed beams, high ceilings and weathered floorboards, our furniture provided the right balance of rustic mixed with a bit of glam!
The overall look that Maddy and Connor were wanting to achieve was relaxed and cosy with rustic barn vibes and lots of causal comfy seating.
As Maddy put it "we envisioned a set up for the ceremony that would then be rearranged for a cosy potluck dinner and then some cute little seating areas with cushions and lots of rugs".
For the ceremony itself, Maddy hired our orange Persian rug and our rimu pedestal to create a frame for when they said their vows.
Thank you Maddy and Connor for the honour of letting us be part of your day. Your kindness, energy and beautiful souls were a privilege to be around - I think I just fell a little bit more in love with love again!
